Crazy Time

Crazy Time

Crazy Time is a live casino game with a money wheel that operates interactively with players. This game will be instantly familiar to anyone who remembers the old wheel-of-fortune type of TV game show, but it’s just as easy to pick up for players unfamiliar with this format.

Information on Crazy Time

Crazy Time is based on a straightforward concept. Your host will spin a large wheel that is split up into 54 different but equally sized sectors. A pointer indicates which sector has won the game when the wheel stops spinning. Essentially, a spin of the wheel randomises the outcome. Different symbols appear on each of the sectors and some, such as numbers, appear more frequently than others. Numbers offer prizes that are multiples of the bet that has been placed, while other symbols open up bonus games, such as 'Coin Flip' or 'Crazy Time'. Players can place one or more bets before every spin of the wheel.

How to Play Crazy Time

The basic way to play Crazy Time is to place a bet on the sector you think the wheel will finish on. If a bet is placed on 1, then players will receive their stake back if this number wins. If a bet is placed on 2, then the prize is x2 the stake. It is x5 the stake for a winning bet on 5 and x10 for a winning bet on 10, and so on. Players can also wager on one of the four bonus games appearing at the end of a wheel spin. These are called Coin Flip, Pachinko, Cash Hunt and, finally, Crazy Time. It is worth noting that '1' appears in most sectors – 21 times in total – while 'Crazy Time' appears just once, so the odds differ, and the prizes reflect this. The full breakdown of the frequency of each symbol can be referred to on the game's page.

Crazy Time Settings

Two main buttons are used to place bets: one that covers the numbers and one that covers the bonus games. For the left-hand button:

  • Swipe upward left for a bet on 1
  • Swipe upward right for a bet on 2
  • Swipe downward left for a bet on 5
  • Swipe downward right for a bet on 10

The game will then prompt players to select how much they wish to wager. A similar system works for the bonus games:

  • Swipe upward left for a bet on Coin Flip
  • Swipe upward right for a bet on Pachinko
  • Swipe downward left for a bet on Cash Hunt
  • Swipe downward right for a bet on Crazy Time

Gameplay

Crazy Time is no slot game. Instead, it plays more like a live casino game. The difference is that the Crazy Time casino appears to be set in a TV studio and looks like a TV game show. The host appears in a ringmaster-style outfit to set the scene. The large wheel sparkles as it turns, and the tension rises as it slows down near the end of each turn.

Crazy Time Symbols

Each Crazy Time game symbol can be found on the rim of the wheel. They're colour coded, too, so players can easily spot which is which. The names of each of the bonus games are written over their sectors and easily distinguished from numbered sectors.

Crazy Time Bonus Game Symbols

Coin Flip is represented by a red circle. Pachinko is pink with a fan-like shape. Cash Hunt is green with a target-style symbol, while Crazy Time is symbolised by a key and is red.

Bonus Games

Cash Hunt is a multiplier bonus game. The action switches from the wheel to a target range which holds 108 hidden multipliers behind it. Players take it in turns to uncover a multiplier using a cannon. Once every player has taken a shot, the individual multiplier selected by each player is awarded.

Coin Flip is also a multiplier bonus game. A digital display indicates how much the prize value will be according to the outcome of a straightforward coin flip by the host. Two outcomes are possible, red or blue, with lower and higher multipliers assigned to each side.

The Pachinko bonus game will also multiply prizes randomly. The host drops a puck into a Pachinko machine and wherever it lands indicates the size of the multiplier. Double values result in the puck being dropped again and again, boosting the multiplier's value.

If Crazy Time comes up, then the host will open a door which reveals another wheel, this time a digital one. It is full of multipliers, such as x10, x25 and x100. Players select a flapper by choosing a colour. When the wheel stops, they win that multiplier. However, if the wheel stops on 'double' or 'treble', players win that multiplier and then the wheel will be spun again for even higher value prizes.
