Significant conditions

  1. The Club Aurora Trivia (the “Game”) promotion will run at 8pm UK time, Friday 23rd May until Sunday 25th May 2025 (“Promotion Period”).

  2. The provider of this Promotion is Playtech Software Limited, Mid City Place, 71 High Holborn, London, WC1V 6EA (the “Provider”).
  3. The Promotion only applies to Club Aurora Trivia online during the Promotion Period.
  4. The Game is a live game show with a prize that is presented by a live host.
  5. The Game consists of a series of multiple-choice questions/statements, each with two possible answers – true or false. Each Game length duration is approximately 15 minutes.
  6. Players who answer 7 out of 10 questions correctly and thus score 700 points are the winners of the relevant Game and will receive an equal share of the prize.
  7. Players who answer each question correctly within a 10-second limit are awarded 100 points. Players who answer incorrectly or answer outside of the 10 second limit will be awarded 0 points for the relevant question.
  8. Players will have a chance to win a share of £/€2,000 in cash per Game.
  9. No one is eliminated from the game at any stage of the Game.
  10. In the event that none of the players win the Game, the prize pool will roll over and be added to the shared prize pool in the subsequent Game.
  11. Winners of each promotional round will be notified via a pop-up animation [within 30 minutes of the end of the relevant promotional round]. The Prize will be automatically credited to a players account.
  12. The Game is a free to play game and does not require any funds in the player’s account.
  13. The Game is not a game of chance. The questions and the order of the questions for each Game are exactly the same for all players.
  14. The answers and questions as well as the sequence in which they appear are provided by an independent third-party supplier, Alphabet Media Ltd, (Trading as The Question Co) (the “Third Party Supplier”).
  15. The licensee does not bear any responsibility, and shall not be liable, for the outcome of the Game as a result of incorrect answers supplied by the Third-Party Supplier.
  16. Players can join the Game and participate for the entire duration of the relevant Game - even if the Game has reached its last question. Prior to the beginning of each Game the host shall communicate to the players basic rules of the Game. Each game length duration is approximately 15 minutes.
  17. Questions are asked one by one with approximately 30-second pause between them. The number of questions for each Game shall be determined by the host or licensee at their sole discretion and communicated to the players prior to the start of the Game.
  18. During the Game players may use the chat option to communicate with other players. The host may see the chat and use it to refer to queries in his/her sole discretion.
  19. In case of any technical problems that may affect the regular Game flow, the Game may be postponed or cancelled. Technical problems in the middle of the series of questions do not void the game unless stated otherwise during the Game. The licensee will not be liable for if, for any reason, or any part of the Game is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, licensee may restrict access to some or all parts of the Game to registered users.
  20. The Promotion is only available to customers located in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Gibraltar, Isle of man, Jersey & Guernsey.
  21. This promotion is available to multiple sites and therefore winners may be selected across multiple sites.

How to take part

  1. Launch
    Launch Club Aurora Trivia (the “Promotion Game”).
  2. Play
    During the Promotion Hours, 1 trivia game will take place each night and players will have a chance to win a part of a shared prize of £/€2,000 in cash by answering a series of multiple-choice questions with True or False.
  3. Winners
    If you are a winner, a pop-up animation will appear after the end of the Game.
  4. Prizes
    All prizes will be distributed evenly between the winning players of each Game. The prize will be automatically credited to your main account balance within 72 hours of winning.

Terms and conditions

  1. We expect you to be fair when you take part in promotions. We consider certain types of play to be unfair and to break these terms and conditions. These unfair types of play include, without limitation, the following:
    1. using ‘minimal risk wagering patterns’ (that is, a set pattern of bets or stakes that unfairly minimises risks or opposite betting);
    2. sharing personalised promotions (that is, promotions only available to specific customers we offer them to) with others and/or taking part in any personalised promotion forwarded to you by someone else when it was not intended for you;
    3. colluding with other customers (that is, plotting with others to gain an unfair advantage) in relation to the promotion;
    4. taking advantage of broken mechanics and combination of loopholes on the game that leads to abusing the promotion/offer/bonus; and
    5. purchasing all the tickets for a free game; or repeatedly depositing, cashing out and redepositing purely to gain a deposit related bonus.
  2. If you take part in any play that we consider to be unfair, we may cancel any bonuses, offers or promotions applied to your account, reclaim any bonus/offer you have received as part of any promotion we have cancelled, and either:
    1. void any bets funded by a bonus/offer (that is, treat them as if they had never been placed); or
    2. remove any winnings relating to any bonus/offer.
  3. William Hill reserves the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet, stake or similar transaction requested by you: (a) where you have breached these terms and conditions; or (b) at any time in our sole discretion, except that we will not exercise (or seek to enforce) any such restriction if you have already made one or more qualifying bets in respect of the promotion and the exercise of our discretion would affect your ability to:
    1. receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the promotion, where you have placed all the necessary qualifying bets.
    2. place the remaining qualifying bets required by the promotion, and consequently receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the promotion, to which you would be entitled as a result; or
    3. materially affect your ability to complete the qualifying bets required by the promotion.
  4. Regardless of anything else set out in these terms and conditions, you can withdraw funds from your main balance at any time, except where we must withhold the funds to meet our legal or regulatory obligations.
  5. You may not participate in the promotion (and you will not be entitled to receive any free bets) if you have previously been informed by William Hill that you are excluded from participating in promotions or any gaming or wagering on the William Hill website, the William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app or in William Hill shops.
  6. William Hill has the right to refuse or withhold free bets (or any winnings from free bets) in the event of funds you have wagered being cancelled or denied by any payment service.
    1. without giving you notice, if the change or cancellation is needed because of any change in law or regulation; or
    2. by giving you notice beforehand, if the change or cancellation is for any other valid reason (for example, if there is a fault in the software or systems we use to provide this promotion, we identify a mistake in these terms and conditions, or we are discontinuing the Promotion for commercial reasons).

We will not be responsible for any technical, hardware or software failures, or any unavailable or lost network conditions which may result in incorrect information being displayed, or affect your ability to enter or take part in the promotion. If there is any dispute over your eligibility for the promotion, our decision will be final.
