Feng Shui follower bags another Big Jackpot

The ancient philosophy of Feng Shui is widely followed by many believers, but simply keeping his toilet seat lid closed has changed the life of Jim R, from Bedford.

Having been advised by a horrified Feng Shui practising friend that 'all his money was going down the drain' Jim kept his toilet seat down and his bathroom door firmly shut and has since been on an extraordinary year-long winning streak that most recently landed him a £175,933 online jackpot.

The jackpot, on slot game Chests of Plenty, was Jim R's second of the year, having previously won £95,000 in February, not long after heeding his wise friend's advice.

"I'm absolutely over the moon" said Jim, speaking after his win. "I'm not exactly a spiritual kind of guy, but my partner took the whole thing quite seriously and was nagging me even more than usual to put the toilet seat and lid down! And then after the first big win I started to think there might be something in it, and keeping everything shut rather became a habit. Winning one jackpot was great, but winning two is extraordinary and I'm sure I've earned that extra slice of luck from somewhere."

William Hill spokeswoman Jennie Prest said: "For most people, winning one of these jackpots is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but now Jim has won two! We've put notices out to all our staff about keeping the doors and toilet seats closed in all our office facilities, we don't want our money going down the drain either, especially if all the punters are going to adopt these tactics to try and  improve their luck!"

The progressive jackpot has now been reset and will build again. Jim also recently won £16,000 playing roulette!
