1. First you need to cash in to buy your chips for the Blackjack game.
2. Choose your stake from the selection of Blackjack chips at the bottom left of the screen.
3. To place your chip(s) on the Blackjack table, click in the square bet area for each of the hands you want to play (where it says 'Place chips here to play').
   • You can choose to play between one and five hands at a time, using any or all of the five bet areas.
   • A chip will be placed in each bet area that you click every time you click on any bet area.

• You may place as many chips as you like on each bet area, provided that you do not exceed the maximum starting stake per hand, which is £5,000. (The minimum stake is 10p.)
• You may choose different stakes for each of your bets - just select a new chip value or place multiple chips on each bet area.
• The total amount you have staked will be shown in the 'Total Stake' box at the bottom right of the screen.
• If you press the 'Double Bet' button, the total bet you have placed on each hand so far will be doubled.
• Press 'Undo' to undo your last action - so if you removed a chip from the table, 'Undo' will replace it, or if you just pressed 'Double Bet' then 'Undo' will remove those chips you just added.
• If you change your mind and want to start again, press 'Clear All Bets' to remove all chips from the table.
• Once you are happy with your bets, press 'Deal' to play the game. Once you have pressed 'Deal', you cannot cancel your bets.

• Switch on 'Turbo Bet' before you press 'Deal' if you want the cards dealt to be displayed instantly without viewing the animation of the cards being dealt from the shoe.

• Once you press 'Deal', two cards will be dealt for each hand that you are playing. If you have bet on more than one hand, the hands will be dealt from the right of the screen. Then the dealer's first card will be dealt face up.
• Once each hand has been dealt two cards, you will be given the option to Hit (receive an extra card from the pack) or Stand (keep your existing hand as it is) for each hand in turn.
• If you have Blackjack or 21, you will not be prompted to Hit or Stand. As this is the best hand you can get, the game will automatically move on to the next hand and you will be given the option to Hit or Stand on that hand.
• If you choose to Hit, as long as your new score is lower than 21, you will be given the choice to Hit again or Stand, until you either reach 21 (where the game will automatically stand for you) or until you go 'Bust' by scoring over 21.
• When you Stand or go bust, the hand is finished and the game will move on to the next hand and repeat this process until all hands are played.
• Next, the dealer's hand will be played. The dealer must Hit on any score below 17 and must Stand on 17 or higher (including 'Soft 17', made up of a 6 and an Ace).

• Once the Dealer's hand has been played, the game is finished. If any of the hands you played score higher than the Dealer's, you will be paid out your winnings on each of those hands.
• If any of the hands that you played went Bust, then you lose your stake for each of those hands.
• If any of your hands tie with the dealer's hand, then it is a 'Push', so your stake will be returned to you.
• If you took out any Insurance bets and if the Dealer got Blackjack, then these will be paid out regardless of the result of the game, so you will win that bet even if your hand is Bust.

• If your initial two cards add up to 9, 10 or 11, you will be offered the chance to 'Double Down'. To do so, just press the 'Double Down' button when it appears. You cannot double on an ace and a 10-value card, but you can double down with an ace and a 9 or an ace and an 8.
• If you choose to Double Down, your stake for the current hand will be doubled and you will be dealt one more card only.
• Once your stake is doubled and an additional card dealt, the game will automatically move on to the next hand.
• If you Split your hand and either of the resulting hands adds up to 9,10 or 11, you will still be offered the chance to Double Down (unless you had split aces).
• If you do not have sufficient credits left to place this additional bet, you will be advised to cash in and once you have done so, the game will continue. If you prefer not to cash in more credits, you may continue playing, but you will not be able to Double Down.

• If your initial two cards make a pair, you will be offered the chance to split your hand. To do this, press the 'Split' button when it appears.
• If you choose to Split a hand, your stake on that hand will be added onto the new hand (so both with have the same stake as your original bet).
• If you do not have sufficient credits left to place this additional bet, you will be advised to cash in and once you have done so, the game will continue. If you prefer not to cash in more credits, you may continue playing, but you will not be able to Split.
• If you get Blackjack after a Split, this is counted as 21, not Blackjack.
• Once you have split a hand, you cannot split again on that hand.

• When the initial two cards have been dealt for each hand and the Dealer's first card has been dealt face up, if the Dealer's first card is an Ace, you will be offered the option to make an Insurance bet. The stake amount for an Insurance bet is fixed at half of the original stake on each hand for which you take Insurance.
• An Insurance bet is a completely separate bet and is not dependent on the outcome of the player's hands. The bet is simply whether or not the Dealer will get Blackjack.
• You can choose to place an Insurance bet on any or all (or none) of the hands you are playing. The first time this happens, you will be given the following options:
  • 'Yes' or 'No' (applies only to the current hand)
  • 'Yes To All' (this will automatically place Insurance bets for all hands in the current game)
  • 'No To All' (you will not be asked again during this game)
  • 'Never' (you will not be offered Insurance again until you exit the game completely).
• If you select 'Never', you can still change your mind - just select 'Offer Insurance' from the Options Menu and switch from 'Never Offer Insurance' to 'Always offer Insurance'.
• If the dealer does get Blackjack, you will win the Insurance bet regardless of who wins the game, even if you go bust.
• If the dealer does not get Blackjack, you lose the Insurance bet and the stake is removed from the table. Your original bet stands until you go bust or win
• If you do not have sufficient credits left to place this additional bet, you will be advised to cash in and once you have done so, the game will continue. If you prefer not to cash in more credits, you may continue playing, but you will not be able to make an Insurance bet.

Betting History: Select this from the Options menu to display details of the previous games in the current session, showing your bets placed and the outcomes.

Animation off: Select this from the Options menu - this is the same as switching on 'Turbo Mode'.

Mute Select this from the Options menu (or use the Mute button on the main screen) to switch off all audio within the game.

Ambient Sound Off: Select this from the Options menu to switch off the casino background sounds but still hear sounds relating to the game itself.

Offer Insurance You can set your preferences here as to whether you want to be offered Insurance or not on each game while playing Blackjack. When you first enter the game, this defaults to 'Always Offer Insurance'. Select this from the Options Menu and change 'Always Offer Insurance' to 'Never Offer Insurance' and vice versa.
